The production
The Showgirls of Burlesque is produced by The Glam Girls (some ticketing listings for the same show use the name Gl'Amouresque). It's described by the venue as burlesque, cabaret, comedy and acrobatics, staged as a sequence of group numbers, duets and solos rather than one continuous piece.
Lola La Tease
Lola La Tease leads the troupe and takes a featured solo spot in the bill. Showbühne Berlin's own production page describes her as one of Europe's touring burlesque performers.
The wider cast
The venue credits its dancers with backgrounds at Moulin Rouge, Lido de Paris and Friedrichstadt-Palast Berlin — three of Europe's best-known stages for large-scale revue.
Two comperes, two languages
German-hosted performances are led by Gisela Kloppke; English-hosted performances are led by comedian Elena Gabrielle. This is one of the more useful practical facts for visitors deciding which date to book, since the compere does most of the talking between numbers.
What's in the bill
Confirmed elements include group numbers, at least one duet, a featured solo, and a recurring giant-champagne-glass set piece used as a prop for one of the numbers. The exact running order on any given night is set by the cast rather than published in advance.
Two names, one production
Some ticket listings credit this show to Gl'Amouresque rather than The Glam Girls — Showbühne Berlin's own English pages use The Glam Girls. Don't be thrown if you see the other name searching for tickets elsewhere; it's the same production.
